The below shift pattern are the times in the week we would like you to be available to work. Your weekly hours will be scheduled 3 weeks in advance within these times.
Early shift: 05:00 - 13:00
Late shift: 15:00 - 23:00

Eligibility:
- You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it
- You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview and, if you’re successful, there’ll be a driving assessment when you join us
- You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
We are looking for a General Online Assistant to join our fast-paced Online team. While the role includes driving customer orders, approximately 80% of your shifts will be spent supporting the Online department, so flexibility and a willingness to get involved across the operation are essential.
You’ll play an important role in making sure customers receive their orders accurately, on time and with a great level of service.
Key responsibilities include:
Shopping customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are picked to a high standard.
Marshall and organise totes ready for delivery, ensuring orders are correctly prepared and loaded.
Load delivery vans safely and efficiently, ensuring orders are ready for their scheduled departure.
Deliver customer orders safely and provide a friendly, professional service.
Shop and prepare On Demand orders for delivery partners including Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.
Confidently answer the department telephone and deal with customer queries, complaints and delivery issues.
Resolve customer and operational issues quickly, using good judgement to find the best possible solution.
Support the wider Online team wherever required, particularly during busy periods.
Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of availability, accuracy, customer service and on-time delivery.
Follow all relevant health & safety, food safety and driving procedures.
What we're looking for

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately at pace.
A flexible team player who is happy to move between different tasks depending on the needs of the department.
The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy, fast-paced environment.
A full, valid driving licence and confidence driving a delivery vehicle.
A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in and support the team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to our customers doorsteps, on-time and in a great condition
- Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before getting out onto the road to drive safely in a variety of locations and conditions
- Serve our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions and substitutions, and keeping them aware of any delays
- Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
- When not out making deliveries, you will be helping across the store as needed
