Great products, competitive prices and exciting promotions don't happen by accident. Behind every successful furniture range is a team of people making commercial decisions that shape what our customers see, buy and love.

We're looking for an Assistant Buyer to join the team and play a key role in delivering category goals across our Furniture proposition, with a particular focus on Gaming Furniture and Home Office Furniture. Working closely with Buyers, Merchandisers, Product Development and suppliers, you'll help create compelling product ranges, support promotional plans, use customer and market insight to drive performance.

A key part of the role will be working with recognised furniture and gaming brands, building strong supplier partnerships and helping shape the future direction of the category.

What you'll do

Support the delivery of category targets by helping develop customer-focused product ranges, promotional plans and trading activity across the Furniture category.

Use sales data, customer insight, competitor analysis and market trends to identify opportunities that improve performance, maximise profit and strengthen our proposition for customers.

Support the end-to-end buying cycle, from range planning and product selection through to range launches, pricing activity and promotional execution, ensuring key milestones are delivered on time.

Build strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams across Merchandising, Product Development, Marketing, Digital and Global Sourcing, helping bring new products and propositions to market.

Work closely with both established and emerging furniture brands, helping to shape exciting ranges across Gaming Furniture and Home Office Furniture that meet evolving customer needs and trends.

Monitor category performance, review competitor activity and contribute recommendations that support both short and longer-term category growth.

You'll enjoy working with branded suppliers and understand the role strong brand partnerships play in creating compelling customer propositions.

A strong relationship builder who enjoys working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and suppliers to achieve shared goals.
