Corporate Services is made up of specialist teams, including Legal, Information Security, Safety & Insurance, and Company Secretary & Share Management. While each area is distinct, we’re all united by one thing: managing risk. That means identifying risks to the business, our people, stakeholders and shareholders, assessing their potential impact, and deciding how best to mitigate or accept them. What makes us different is the exposure we have to other specialisms. We don’t work in silos, and there are real opportunities to move laterally and grow your career. We also have an amazing leadership team - 50% women - and a genuine passion for Sainsbury’s as a brand and as a place to be. That’s what makes this somewhere you can truly belong.

Why join us

Joining Sainsbury's as the FM Logistics Automation Operations & Mobilisation Manager means being at the forefront of cutting-edge automation technology in a fast-paced and evolving logistics environment. As a key player in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our automated logistics assets, you will have the opportunity to lead mobilisation efforts, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to deliver exceptional service. With a focus on operational excellence, innovation, and strategic growth, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our logistics operations while being part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team.

What you'll do

You’ll ensure the safe, stable, and efficient mobilisation of new automation and the sustained effective operation of live assets within the logistics automation estate. Your exceptional communication skills, coupled with your ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and service providers, enable you to drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with KPIs and SLAs, and proactively manage incidents and supplier performance. With a keen eye for detail, strong analytical capabilities, and the capacity to make methodical decisions under pressure, you thrive in high-pressure environments, demonstrating clear ownership, accountability, and effective leadership in delivering cost-effective and efficient automation operations.
