What you need to do

•    Own stock performance at SKU/store level, Create and maintain accurate, SKU/store demand forecasts aligned to the category plan.
•    Provide root cause analysis and investigation of trended data in relation to various KPIs such as sales, availability, waste, and stockholding in order to achieve the optimum customer experience across our retail channels, to inform and influence the strategic direction of the commercial category. 
•    Own the performance of your category profile, be curious and seek opportunities, to constantly find ways to improve performance, simplify and save.  
•    Ensure stock levels reflect seasonality and moments that matter to our customers
•    Proactively execute data led and customer outcome focused system parameter changes within Allocation & Replenishment systems
•    Ensure thorough governance over category profile, with regular and effective cross functional business partnership. Set objectives and contribute towards strategic category development plans, whilst ensuring Supply Chain objectives are understood and met.  

What you need to show
•    Business and commercial acumen and strong analytical capability to generate, manipulate & interrogate data to perform accurate root cause analysis and generate insights & trends 
•    Business Partnership, Stakeholder Management and Cross Functional Working 
•    Effective communicator - understands the importance of and can build a strong network around the business. 
•    Robust systemic competency, competent excel skills are desirable. 
•    Demonstrate drive, curiosity, and desire to grow together with the demonstration of ongoing and continuous professional development 
•    Effective project management (desirable not essential) 
•    Good judgement in the face of multiple, and sometimes conflicting, demands. 
•    Ability to influence at all levels (up to and including Heads of departments) 
•    Commercial/buying related experience in Retail/FMCG (desirable not essential). 
•    Strong customer focus

What decisions I can make:. 
•    Choose how our range is set up and flows into and out of our network, influencing the route to market from the depot network to our stores & how to optimise availability across all channels. 
•    Decide when and how to manage changes in consumer demand to maximise availability. 
•    Use data insights & working in collaboration with stakeholders to take proactive action to achieve Supply Chain objectives.
