Why join us
Joining Sainsbury’s Zest as a Social Creative means becoming part of a collaborative and fast-moving team that creates standout organic content. Shaping social-first ideas that capture attention, spark conversation and resonate with our audiences.
As part of our agile and inclusive environment, you will have the freedom to explore new ideas, experiment with different content formats and stay at the forefront of social trends.
Your work will reach millions of customers across our brands, giving you the opportunity to shape how they show up in culture and on social. Join us to unleash your creative potential, collaborate with talented teams, and deliver campaigns that make a real impact in the digital world.
What you'll do
As a Social Creative within the Marketing & Loyalty division, you’ll help develop and deliver compelling organic social content across our brands, predominantly Argos and Habitat. Working closely with our Social Creative Director and digital marketing team, you’ll concept, script and produce social-first ideas designed to disrupt feeds and drive engagement.
Your work will span multiple platforms, with a strong focus on TikTok, Instagram, Threads and Meta. You’ll be involved in the full creative process, from early concepts and scripting through to shooting and editing content where needed, ensuring ideas are executed quickly and effectively in a social-first way.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and brand partners to understand campaign objectives and translate them into engaging, culturally relevant content. With a strong curiosity for internet culture and social trends, you’ll help ensure the work we produce feels timely, authentic and native to each platform. Success in this role will come from delivering fresh, original social ideas that capture attention, build brand love and drive engagement across our channels.
Who you are
You’re a social-first creative who lives and breathes the internet. You have strong experience creating organic social content for brands and a deep understanding of platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Threads and Meta. Experience in YouTube and Reddit and other social platforms would also be great to see in your portfolio.
You’ve concepted and created social content for brands, ideally within retail, though not essential, and you understand how to develop ideas that feel native to the feed rather than traditional advertising. But also feel distinct for the brand. You’re comfortable turning ideas into reality, whether that means scripting a concept, self-shooting content, editing a quick turnaround video, or collaborating with others to bring an idea to life.
You’re constantly plugged into social culture spotting trends early, understanding what makes people stop scrolling, and translating those insights into original creative ideas. Alongside your creativity, you bring strong storytelling skills, copywriting experience and understanding of what it takes to establish a brand TOV on social, a sharp eye for visuals, and the ability to move quickly while maintaining quality.
Curious, collaborative and culturally aware, you’re excited to help shape how our brands show up on social creating work that feels relevant, entertaining and worth engaging with.
