Joining the creative team at Zest within Sainsbury's offers an exciting opportunity for a talented Video Editor to showcase their storytelling skills and creativity across a diverse range of platforms and projects. As part of our in-house agency, you will collaborate with a team of videographers, producers, and designers to craft engaging video content that resonates with our audience while pushing the boundaries of innovation. What you'll do

As a Video Editor within the Zest creative team at Sainsbury's, you will be responsible for editing engaging and dynamic video content across various platforms, ranging from mobile-first social content to high-impact campaign films. Your role will involve working closely with videographers, producers, and designers to craft compelling narratives that resonate with our audience, ensuring high production value and audience engagement. You will utilise industry-standard editing software and techniques to optimise edits for different platforms, integrating motion graphics, typography, and visual effects as needed to enhance storytelling. Your focus will be on ensuring final edits meet brand guidelines, creative expectations, and technical excellence, contributing to the delivery of high-performing, engaging video assets that resonate with audiences.

Who you are

As a Video Editor for Sainsbury's Zest In-House Creative Agency, you are a skilled and creative professional with a strong passion for storytelling and visual composition. With expertise in editing content for various platforms, from mobile-first social media to high-impact campaign films, you bring a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of industry-standard editing software. Your ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, coupled with your adaptability, resilience, and innovative mindset, allows you to craft engaging and high-quality video assets that resonate with audiences and drive creative excellence across multiple brands.

Essential criteria:

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing work across mobile-first and campaign content.
  • Experience in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and After Effects.
  • Experience working with both mobile-shot (iPhone preferred) and Cinema footage.
  • Experience in sound design, colour grading, and motion graphics integration.
