What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional and confidential support to the Directors of the department and the wider team, ensuring efficient information flow and issue resolution. Your key responsibilities will include managing their diaries and appointments, liaising with relevant business areas to proactively manage long-term commitments, reading and prioritising information through the creation of daily folders, arranging and coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, preparing presentations and reports, maintaining and reviewing budgets, managing departmental schedules and expenses, organising events and team meetings, overseeing recognition systems, and handling invoice payments. You will showcase excellent computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft packages and Sainsbury's systems, the ability to facilitate meetings and take minutes confidentially, simplify processes, analyse data, prioritise workload, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, your interpersonal and influencing skills, along with your ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and engage with the broader business, will be essential to succeed in this role.

As an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant, you are adept at providing professional and confidential support to directors and teams, ensuring efficient information flow and issue resolution. With a strong attention to detail and excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft packages and Sainsbury's systems, you are able to manage complex calendars, arrange meetings, and prepare presentations and reports with minimal supervision. Your ability to simplify processes, analyse data, and streamline administration contributes to the efficient operation of the team, while your interpersonal and influencing skills enable you to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. With a self-motivated and proactive approach, you thrive in fast-paced environments, balancing conflicting priorities and maintaining a strong work-life balance.
