What you'll do -
As a Procurement and Supplier Management Excellence Analyst at Sainsbury's, your primary responsibility will be to support the development and delivery of the end-to-end process and governance for the team across the lifecycle to ensure smooth ways of working. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and risk owners across the business to design, implement, and manage the seamless process for procurement and supplier management. This includes ensuring that the third-party suppliers supporting our operations are robust, align with Sainsbury's values, and follow commercial best practises. You will be the focal point of knowledge on frameworks, training, and good practises in dealing with suppliers, supplier assurance, and due diligence processes. Additionally, you will support the category teams in strategic supplier onboarding and deliver the due diligence requirements throughout the lifecycle. Your success in this role will depend on your ability to build strong relationships, coach and support teams, adapt to a dynamic environment, and make informed decisions to ensure robust sourcing and supplier management.

As a Procurement and Supplier Management Excellence Analyst for Sainsbury's, you are a highly skilled professional with practical knowledge and experience in developing operating models and ways of working frameworks across teams. With your expertise in governance and supplier assurance principles, you play a pivotal role in designing and implementing end-to-end processes to ensure smooth procurement and supplier management. Your ability to write and deliver clear and engaging training materials, along with your strong communication and influencing skills, enables you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and provide guidance on dealing with suppliers, supplier assurance, and due diligence processes. With your critical thinking, analytical skills, and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, you contribute to the continuous improvement and success of our procurement and supplier management functions.
